- East coast - August 2007 - Halifax, PEI, & Cape Breton (drove the spectacular Cabot Trail). Two weeks
- Mexico - January 2008 - Mayan Riviera - 2 weeks
- Long weekend at Pacific Rim National park near Tofino, BC
- Europe - Aug./Sept. 2001 - Portugal, Spain & France for 6 weeks. We were in France Sept 11, 2001 when the towers came down and weren't sure if we were going to be able to get back to canada easily.
- Saltspring Island - Aug 2002 - Honeymooned for 1 week on Saltspring (on of the Gulf Islands off the coast of BC). If you like visiting artisans at their studios then this is the place for you!
- Calgary Stampede & hiking Berg Lake Trail (Near Mt Robson, BC) - July 2003
- Jasper National Park - July 2004 - 1 week camping trip with many day hikes.
- Italy - May 2005 - Traveled all over Italy: Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Modena, Venice, Naples, Sicily (Palermo). 4 weeks

- Peru - June 2000 - Hiked into Machu Picchu and toured around - 3 weeks
- Japan 1990 - 2 week school trip.
- Desolution sound 1991 - family sail boat trip - 4 weeks round trip from vancouver to Desolution Sound (north of Powell River, BC)
- Mexico 1993 - family trip to mexico - Baja - San Jose del Cabo. 2 weeks.
- Las Vegas 2004 - Girls trip to Vegas! (5 days)
